Cancellations, Refunds, Transfers

Beginning Thursday, August 2, you may transfer your symposium registration and banquet ticket to the buyer of your choice.

Ticket transfers (symposium and banquet) will be handled
entirely as private transactions between the buyer and seller who will assume any risks of the transaction. Individuals wishing to transfer (sell) or buy a ticket or registration may connect on our facebook page,  twitter or any other forum they choose.

Please read the EventBrite tutorial on how to transfer your ticket to someone else.

Please contact EventBrite Customer Service directly if you need help transferring your ticket.

Previous Policy
  • Tickets are non-transferrable.
  • 100% refunds will be given for symposium registrations as long as there are persons on the wait list willing to purchase the ticket. (it is because the willingness to purchase had all but evaporated that we instituted the policy change)
Previous Wait List Policy
  • When a symposium registration is refunded, the next person on the wait list is contacted automatically by EventBrite with registration instructions.
  • Please add invite@eventbrite.com to your contacts to insure that EventBrite's email reaches you rather than your spam folder.
  • The EventBrite notification contains a registration link that is active for 24 hours. So please be ready to register right away! If 24 hours have passed, and a link is an unused, the link and the position on the wait list place is forfeited.
  • Students: please note "student" by your last name when adding your name to the wait list. Proof of enrollment must be received by the time your name comes up on the wait list. If we are not in receipt of enrollment documentation when a space becomes available, that space will be offered to the next student who has appropriate documentation on file.
  • Local to Cambridge? If you are interested in the possibility of attending the symposium on short notice (perhaps in the range of 7 days up until the moment the conference begins), please note "last minute" in parenthesis next to your last name. Your name will stay on the regular wait list and will be added to a "short notice" list, significantly increasing your chances of obtaining a ticket.
  • And finally, the wait list.

Tickets are non-transferrable.
Registering for One Day or One Presentation
Only the full 3-day conference registration was available due to space limitations. In future years we may offer one day registration depending on the size of the venue. Most of the presentations will be posted online in the months following AHS.
I Really Need A Ticket Because...
I attended AHS last year.
I am a member of AHS.
I had an early registration link.

I really need a ticket.
I love paleo.
Paleo changed my life.
We would very much like to accomodate everyone. Really and truly. However, total conference registrations are limited by building capacity and by the number of tickets purchased before you attempted to purchase your ticket.

Most presentations will be posted online. We hope that a larger venue can be secured for AHS 2013.

Do I need to register in EventBrite? I am a student/volunteer/presenter/speaker/exhibitor.
Nametags will be printed from our list of attendees in EventBrite. Every attendee is expected to register: all students, volunteers, presenters, speakers and exhibitors.

If you need a registration link and are an exhibitor, volunteer or presenter, please email registration@ancestryfoundation.org.

Volunteer Tickets
All volunteer spaces are full.

Discounted or complementary tickets were available for a limited number of attendees volunteering a minimum of 15 hours of their time at AHS2012.
